October 2017 saw my life change in a huge way. I walked the Kepler Track with a less than kind partner, as a result I stopped often to soak up the scenery and find some inner strength I didn’t know I had. The paintings that came after are strong in colour and wide in style. They the reflect the immense challenge that was before me and the courage to continue when I felt beyond myself.
This is what pain and triumph looks like.
To anyone thinking of doing the Kepler Track…it is by far the hardest track on the Great Walks, believe no who tells you otherwise.
Stay Strong, Kia Kaha.
Vast tussock-covered ridgelines and spectacular alpine vistas contrast with peaceful lakeside and valley beech forest in this wilderness adventure.
