Paroa Bay is the one place in my life that has remained constant. My family have lived here since 1840 something. My Grandparents lived here and now my Mum and Dad live here….one day I hope to live in the most beautiful place on this planet.

I am delighted to have been able to capture just a little of it’s heart on canvas.

This painting does not have a painted heart HOWEVER it is the place of my heart…forever…

I had the best fun painting this Underwater scene….with memory’s of Mary’s fabulous painting and a love of the sea my blank canvas took a brand new shape!
There was purple everywhere…it is such a consuming colour…deep rich and very vibrant.
I enjoyed this one so much, the coral has many, many hearts…fun.
